DRIVER TRAINING INITIATIVE

In an attempt to support and encourage the Indian transport industry, Mahindra Truck and Bus kick-started its unique driver training initiative, on September 2010. An initiative that addressed the shortage of trained drivers the industry is currently facing.

SOME HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAMME

Undertaking of medical examinations and health awareness programmes

Vehicle familiarisation and troubleshooting training
">
Training on safe driving practices
">
Training on economic driving, including road test and star rating, by the BSA Training Academy
">
Visit to the ‘state-of-the-art' plant at Chakan

Moreover, each MTB driver was given a year of Accident Insurance worth Rs. 1 lakh. The trained drivers are now available for employment. Click on the links below to see them.
